An Alliance for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Europe
We are a transnational coalition of startups and entrepreneurs from the most digitally advanced countries in Europe. Our mission is to shape better conditions for startups through policies that foster innovation, growth, and job creation.
Our role as the startup voice in D9+ discussions is to ensure that the policies outlined in the group’s official declarations promote innovation and empower startups to grow and scale within Europe.
When the D9+ ministers meet, we work to provide essential insights and support on how proposed policies affect the startup ecosystem. Our goal is to make sure that the D9+ agenda fosters an environment conducive to startups, avoiding the unintended consequences of stifling innovation, as we’ve seen with certain digital regulations over the past year.

S9+ is a coalition comprising of startup voices for the european entrepreneurs. The S9+ coalition have a profound collaboration with governments from the D9+ countries, startups and stakeholders all over Europe. We are a subgroup of the interest organization Allied for Startups.

The S9+ declaration and demands for policy change
To ensure Europe’s competitiveness and future, we must create a startup-friendly economy. We urge EU governments to take action now and implement policies that help startups grow and thrive. Every six months when the chairmanship of the D9+ changes, we create a declaration with proposals for digital policy changes that can enhance the startup ecosystem in Europe.
